The Site And The Films

I finished Nereis, the VELIS-03 expedition film

Nereis runs 2:53: a 2:48 cut, plus the ident and the end card. I kept 27 shots out of the 43 I generated, across 26 versions of the edit. I reviewed the whole film and wrote twenty-five findings, each one checked against the frame. The pass that applied them removed more than it added. I had generated a full-scale reveal, held it ten seconds and scored it. Then I cut it, because it stopped the story dead. A waveform check caught a heartbeat that had been silent for three versions. The film ships with a teaser and a making-of. The production dossier is online in both languages.

I mirrored the site in French and cut the wordmark

I translated sixteen pages line by line, then went back through them for forty-five proofreading fixes. I captioned all six spoken films in both languages. A speech scan caught what the credits never said: The Empty Throne narrates five lines, and bird-01 hides a full dialogue scene. I cut the JEASON wordmark from the brand type, letter by letter, and notched the seal into the O.

I redrew Black Blossom at native 4K

I redrew the founding cast: twenty-eight sheets at 3584 × 4800. I cut seven rain reveals out of the teaser. The making-of is written as a protocol log, and it keeps the card that owns what went wrong. I repaired the main visual instead of regenerating it. The original painting won.

Bee Village runs forty-nine seconds

It has eleven shots and nine spoken lines, in two parts. Shot 04 is a held frame: the safety filter refused a cartoon bee twice, so I kept the frozen heroic pose. On "Say no more.", it reads as a joke. The generator also kept hallucinating our seal onto the paintings. I cleaned eight keyframes and stamped them properly.

The videos leave git

Ninety-two percent of the repository’s history was video. Every re-encode under the same name added another full copy, for good. I moved the films to object storage and kept the posters in the repo.

The Empty Throne, shot in one night

I took an imperial court ceremony from Scarlet Protocol to the screen in a single night, from the boards to the score. Twenty-two visuals at native resolution ship with the film, and the full production documentary.

The site opens its files

I documented seven universes as world dossiers: lore, palettes, spec-grade sheets, films. Kagezan — Reveal and Night Sanctuary went online the same day.

Two Industries Shipped

Manoid, robots on site

I handled the product design and the brand for this French robotics company, and I directed two showcase films. The quadruped is staged on construction and demolition sites. It was shown on BFM Business.

Gamma Strain started as a test

I delivered fourteen numbered plates under a traditional art director: environment, weapon, props, creature. The 3D team adopted the designs and carried them into production. Every note came back as a revision.

I started that way

I did not pivot into this. I was directing generative pipelines and documenting them for revision before the work had a name.
